LOL quack quack quack. If he's so confident in his own star power he should believe a fight with him and Loma should sell out arenas. Can't rely on others to sell tickets your entire career.

Either way it's a duck but I'm looking forward to reading the comments trying to justify it.

Perhaps you are a new fan or been out of the mix a while but Loma and Rigo negotiated in 2015. You'll find articles on the net. Team Rigo and Lom agreed to a fight and finer details like a hydration clause, etc., were agreed on and team Rigo backed off. I see no need for Lom to pursue Crawford who is two divisions higher and will head to 147. Both Lom and Garcia have mentioned fighting each other and if the fight comes off it would most likely be held at 135.

Yeah, Salido is hurt so its all moot at this point.

My take from reading NSB posts is some fans are justifying it as a stay busy fight. If you don't want to see it then good. I hope a deal can be made for Loma to fight any of the top LW's, especially Berchelt.

If Davis wasn't a champion I'd agree with the move, but I am of the belief that if your ready to fight for world championship, you should be ready to fight against anybody.

Obviously Floyd has been in his ear and I agree with the consensus on here that the money team will wait until Loma has declined or already been beaten.

So many fighters are guilty of this saying things like "I'll be ready in a year" or "the risk doesn't match the reward" or the best or "why should I fight him? Who's he fought?" it's pathetic and people would have much more respect for them if they said things like "I don't think I'm ready for him at this time" or better still "speak to my manager".

There's an old saying if the two fighters want the fight the fight will happen.

I like both Davis and Lom but would rather see them each clear out the division but if they have to fight then it is what it is. Maybe at 135 they will meet.

Of course Loma fanboys want him to fight the weakest champion at 130. Even knowing Davis is still fairly green and inexperienced and wont be able to beat Loma at the young age of 22, they still want the fight. Scared the great Euro hope is going to lose to another Mexican is grows a set and moves up to fight Garcia
