GGG has NOT. What he was doing in 2012 he still does today. He struggled with Jacobs not because Jacobs was a A level fighter he struggled because he didn't make any adjustments, he doesn't have a plan b. He fought Jacobs like he fights every one else.

Thurman NO he fights the same in every fight, tries to throw haymakers early and if that doesn't work he just fights in spurts, no new skills.

PAC has NOT. He still throws 2 or 3 jabs then a straight left. Then steps back and hits his gloves together..

Ok, the man is 35! About time he fought at least some b level people. This his first real test. I don't count Jacobs. Their is levels in everything and canelo is a whole new level that ggg Will experience and can't say the same for canelo as he has been in there with one of the all time greats, he lost, but still got that experience out of it...

Mayweather is an all time great fighter but also he fights nothing like Golovkin. This is like saying you prepared for a marathon by running against a sprinter. What experience can Canelo take from looking terrible against Mayweather? Canelo I'm sure had other fighters that would prepare him better vs. Golovkin than the Mayweather fight did. Throw in the Lara fight too, nothing in that fight prepared him for Golovkin.

I believe Canelo always wanted this fight, I don't believe DLH wanted this fight earlier. I'm not sure DLH wants this fight now but it is much better today than it was for him last year. He likely thinks the way you do, not the way Canelo does.

You have to understand Mexican boxing culture (or just culture) to understand why Canelo actually needed this fight. Canelo is Mexico's favorite fighter right now. That said there are still questions about him. When he dumped his belt that did not go over well in Mexico. It didn't go over with a lot of fans who let him hear about it. The guy is on social media, he was getting bashed day after day. Canelo IMO isn't afraid and this did legitimately bother him. When he called out Golovkin the first time I believe he wanted that fight. DLH said not so fast kid.

Canelo isn't all about money, he couldn't hold up his head the way he wants by dumping a belt to avoid a fighter and saying there were other money fights out there and that's why I didn't face Golovkin. The excuses that were given weren't flying. This fight works out for all involved because it has had time to grow. But not for one second do I believe that Golovkin is taking a worse deal than he would have had last year. His PR has risen, Canelo's PR stayed flat. The only reason the Chavez fight was dismissed so quickly was because the Golovkin fight was made. If Canelo is facing Cotto 2 he is getting absolutely hammered in Mexican media and he also fails in making himself a legit big time star (like Mayweather or Pac).

Canelo didn't need this fight financially, he needed this fight for himself.

Canelo sold around 1million PPVs against Chavez Jr.

Are you going to leave Chavez out of the equation and pretend his name wasn't a massive factor in those sales?

Jacobs is trash too who has he beat besides cancer? No offense to anyone... but I don't think Jacobs is anything special and he arguably beat ggg. I never said mayweater or Lara or anyone got canelo ready for ggg. You can train without anyone in the world and it won't get you ready for a specific fighter. Once you are in the ring, skills pay them bills. Canelo got in there with mayweather and even though he doesn't get him ready for ggg, I bet you anything that he learned a lot from that fight. Canelos is superior to ggg and all of you will see that come September

No active fighter predicts fights more correctly than Spence but he is saying canelo is gonna win based on the premise than he's gonna fight GGG

I think he's going to go into the fight with the wrong game plan and try to fight a bit like Jacobs and move and jab , and he's jus gonna jus take punishment . and by the time hes realised hes gotta fight GGG in the middle of the ring hes gonna have slowed down and be behind on the cards....its gonna be too late

LOL, SMH! He fought them totally different. He fought Lemieux differently too. I know people want to believe that Golovkin is just a brawler but he is an experienced boxer. Few people recognize that Golovkin is a counter puncher too. Everyone talks about Canelo being one and how he throws his combos. That could be just what Golovkin is looking for. Can't wait to see drama unfold.
