I've acknowledged that his resume isn't great. They said the same thing was said about Hopkins before the Tito fight. And they were right. That said all of these guys aren't "cans" as you say. It isn't simply that he has beat them he's destroyed them. Anybody can go to boxrec and look up stats, people who know boxing can see quality even if their opponent isn't elite. This is the same in every sport. If the Golden State Warriors are playing the worst team in the NBA you can acknowledge the opposition is lacking but you can still see that the Warriors are great. How good will be determined when they play another top team. This is Golovkin's chance to show how good he is against a top fighter. Same with Canelo.
