While I'm sure Arum would hate to cut a million+ check to Mikey, would he be tempted to use the buzz surrounding Mikey at the moment to make a Crawford-Garcia fight as Bud's last 140lbs fight? Imagine Bud defending all 4 belts vs Garcia before moving up to 147lbs on Showtime (if need be). That would be a great way to set the stage to Bud's 147lbs career especially since all the money fight at 147 will have to be against the Haymon/Showtime stable.

What exactly has Thurman done recently to make people think he would demolish Mikey? Mikey to me is superior to Thurman when it comes to boxing IQ. Thurman has yet to beat any top contender decisively, and end ups on his bike more than anything. Mikey would hit Thurman, whether he hurts him or not who knows but he could easily outbox Thurman.

i only picked broner because i didnt like how team garcia was talking leading up to the fight. if i had to put money, i would have gone with mikey. dont like my pick fool you. it wasnt a serious pick, it was done out of dislike towards team garcia.
