What exactly has Thurman done recently to make people think he would demolish Mikey? Mikey to me is superior to Thurman when it comes to boxing IQ. Thurman has yet to beat any top contender decisively, and end ups on his bike more than anything. Mikey would hit Thurman, whether he hurts him or not who knows but he could easily outbox Thurman.

He just beat Porter and Garcia back to back, two proven top level fighters. How many active 28 year-olds have a better resume than Thurman? Mikey is probably the more skilled fighter P4P, but Thurman is also very skilled himself and probably like 20 pounds heavier than Mikey naturally, plus a real puncher at 147. Size matters.

Thurman is more tested, has the better resume and he's way bigger than Mikey. It's not a competitive fight.

Mikey cab beat ab all day everyday but not Keith Thurman. Adrien can't deal with volume punchers to save his life but Keith doesn't have that problem. I believe Mikey should fight Lomachenko I see him winning that fight easy.

Mikey looked good against Broner, but you can tell he is still a 135 pound fighter at the moment. If he can add more muscle mass while keeping his speed, he will be better suited for both 140 and 147. His fundamentals are so good, that he can afford to add some weight training to his routine.

Exactly. Garcia needs to put in some muscle, while training for speed and reflexes at the same time. While he did put a boxing lesson on Broner, he never hurt him. Mikey needs to be bigger and more muscular if he wants to compete with the top guy at 140 today, Crawford. 147 is just out of the question at this time. He looked soft even at 140, he dismantled Broner because Garcia is 1,000 times a better boxer, but had he been a bit bigger and vastly more muscular, he would have messed up Broner's face at the very least, and knocked him down or even out at best. He looked too soft for a 140-pounder.

I think Crawford beats him but i think it's a bigger risk than what arum is willing to allow. Especially for someone who left his promotional company. Imagine the possibility of Mikey beating either 1 of his 2 biggest stars and how pissed he'd be that it was against a fighter he used to promote?

True but he's already kept pac away from Crawford he needs to start delivering big fights before he goes elsewhere.
