Seening how Broner had a little success towards the end of the fight when he start getting aggressive lets me know STAY AWAY FROM THURMAN. Two of my fav fighters now but thurman ruins mikey, he's way to big and strong. They would never do it anyway so top out at 140 and dominant till the mega fight with crawford at 140 before he moves up.

Then again, you didn't think he could beat Broner either!

Crawford and Thurman are suicidal fights. Good luck on that because those 2 can hit back with real power.

I really can't see Mikey being competitive with the hitters at 147. Thurman is more fluid than Broner and with throw cleaner, straighter punches. I'd rather see Mikey try Crawford at 140, and I still give the edge to Crawford. Mikey may have to drop back to 135 if he can make he weight. Unless he wants to fight the Petersons and Matthysses of 147.

I'm sure he'll have no problem letting Crawford whoop that ass. I don't see him letting lomachenko fight him though

Arum will probably not work with Mikey to make Lomachenko or Crawford fights so Mikey might as well be looking at Haymon's guys.

If all Mikey wants is big fights, that eliminates anyone at LW unless it's Lomachenko coming up. Linares isn't that big of a deal he's a semi-big fight, Easter is very good but he's not a name. That leaves Crawford at 140 and the dudes at 147.

I like Mikey but he didn't really bring power to 140. At 147 he gets blitzed by Thurman. You want fans to remember you for the right reasons Mikey.

Mikey is feeling himself to much, you haven't even made a defense of your 135 lightweight title vs. your mando ( Jorge Linares UNIFIED CHAMPION) or eliminated any of the major players that are easy money like Terry Flanagan whos doing everything possible to avoid Verdejo ; now you want to skip 140 and fight at welterweight vs. the best in that division?! what makes you worthy?!

You a clown to Keiph 'Runtime' Thurman, I mean like he would even call your name out boy! slow your ****en roll Garcia.

Thurman is on another level so becareful what you ask for. Even at 140, Crawford will beat Garcia. Its better to seek unification and defend his belt at 135.I noticed during his fight with Broner that he was struggling taking those body shots in the late rounds. Also, his punches lacked the necessary power on Broner.
