I'm seeing the complete package in Charlo....time will tell but he has good patience to set his shots up and can move forward or backward effectively and that last part is a great sign.

This fight was awful, where did they find this Heiland guy from? He didn't even know how to fight. Horrible match making.

That was a farce. The ref should have stopped it sooner. His corner actually allowed him to fight in that condition. That's nuts. Charlo looked terrible. He missed a lot of punches. Heiland couldnt move and had no power. Charlo should have walked right through him. I was thinking he was a lot better but this performance was poor. He's not ready for the top Middleweights.

Here you can clearly see that he was stumbling around at the weigh in and was held up by his own trainer several times.

Funny af how me & a few others were already saying what a dirtbag Sulaiman was 4 giving Charlo the easiest cherrypick route to wbc title in history.
To anyone defending career cherrypicker Charlo that didn't fight Andrade, dont want Lara"he my freind sike", this is literally the exact same circumstances as when the wbc gifted ggg a belt after beating bum rubio who was washed up since Chavez Jr destroyed him 4 yrs earlier. Canelo takes the risk & goes & beats the Lineal champ & toughest test by default, & is rewarded by being forced to give ggg 45% of his purse BECAUSE ggg refused anything less than 40% with the knowledge that he can make canelo loook bad if he doesn't give in to his demands & make him vacate.
Ggg had accomplished jack shît & beat nobody as well as done nothing to gain #1 contender status by wbc esp. Since hes a rival beltholder from IBF which is against the rules. Yet Scumlaiman broke his own rules & gifted him the belt which entitles him to 55-45 split. You can Argue its best for Boxing but its completely unfair & reeks of curruption just like this abomination that just took place. It rewards career cherrypicking & punishes risk taking fighters, thats why its no surprise Canelo said ages ago hed not ever accept crooked scum WBC thats the only org that does this shît,the other orgs treat champs as champs & make contenders earn it more & dont give glorified contenders ludicrous purse splits.

Something is seriously amiss with the WBC. Firstly Heiland doesn't deserve to be ranked #1, If he is ranked #1, then two years is far too long to be in waiting for a shot.
This is the only reasoning for interim titles to be sanctioned, as in this case you have a unified champ, who is actually fairly busy for a modern day title holder.
As somebody already stated, the WBC officials were negligent in letting Heiland into the ring in the first place.
Making him remove tape is bizarre as I've seen plenty of fighters wear athletic supports or straps, for eg. Sergio Martinez had both knees heavily strapped for his fight with Cotto.
How does strap or tape give an unfair advantage? I have sparred or trained with knee supports, and after awhile they become constrictive and irritating.
Finally, what specifically does Canelo have against the WBC? Does it go back to him giving up the belt a couple of years ago after he won it from Cotto, and binned it rather than face GGG? If I remember correctly the WBC demanded a large sanctioning fee of six figures or something like that. Maybe someone can clarify.
