ive come to the conclusion tho that you can downgrade every single fighters resume whether the person they beat was too old, overrated, to young, to big, to small I mean the list goes on. One thing boxing fans are good at is discrediting fighters resume's. I understand threads like this but I just think its unfortunate we as boxing fans discredit fighters careers
I disagree completely. WHitaker was just and tricky as ever before and just as awkward...which is also why Oscar won. As frustrating as WHitaker was that night, Oscar was the actual boxer in the ring doing something boxing requires: throwing punches.

Yes Whitaker probably wasn't as good as he had been against Chavez and Taylor years ago but he was still the top welter wroung, unbeaten at the weight and Oscar was the guy moving into a new division. There is no belittling that.

As for DLH vs Tito the real winner got the correct decision. You can't fight for 8 rounds in a 12 round close fight and expect to win.
First off he was up practically 7-1 after 8 that's fight , second just about anyone would agree with me.

I didn't even mention Mosley who arguably lost both fights and I thought him and Parnell had a draw, Parnell still had a lot left that was a big fight for him.

And yeah quartey would litteraly sleep danny if we had a time machine.

I'm by no means a DLH fan but let's be real he beat Tito in that fight and he also beat Mosley in the 2nd fight. Chavez was past prime and so was Whitaker (I had Whitaker beating him by 1 point so I can't give him too much credit for that). But he had a lot of big fights and fought some great guys you've got to respect that.

I think it's hilarious people think a plodder like Ike would've been able to live with Danny's speed and left hook.

Ike is at least better than Herrera and Peterson, right?
