      hopkins at 32 years of age stopping an unbeaten glen johnson , this was probably as close to his physical prime as we have seen, trinidad fight when he was 36 years old was his signature win and with the added experience he had , that was probably his peak skill level

        Hopkins is the better fighter but he doesn't always fight to his level of greatness. Ward always fight at a high level. For that reason I would give Ward edge. However, Hopkins is capable of beating Ward especially if he feels like he had something to prove.
