Is Cotto sparring Machado??? is that correct, Machado will gain alot of experience and will be much better for his next fight and for Cotto is actually good sparring Machado is 5"11, real powerful, southpaw and much much younger.

If that happens, agreed.
It should be entertaining, I think Kamegai will have moments here and there. It's mostly the style match up that should make the fight entertaining while it lasts.
But if Cotto does go life and death with Kamegai, then yes I would call it a day if I was Cotto.

I wouldn't expect an older rusty cotto coming off a 21 month layoff to fight a top rated fighter his first fight back after 21 months off. Lol

Lol, nah 21 month lay off, coming off a loss and getting older.
Next fight will be a big name or good name. I wouldn't expect Floyd to fight a top fighter if he was off for 21 months and his last fight was a loss.

Marquez was a safe fight for Floyd. Marquez was small at that time and coming up in weight. He was too small for Floyd to do any damage.
I don't knock Floyd for taking Marquez in his first fight back. Floyd hadn't fought in almost two years so I never knocked him for fighting Marquez.
Soto-Karass got knocked out by Kamegai in Kamegai's last fight.
Soto-Karass has a KO win over Andre Berto.
I don't have any problem with Cotto-Kamegai.

Wouldn't be that surprised if Kamegai pulls off the win, at this stage of Cotto's career after the layoff it could happen. I stand by the fact he has been shot since 2012. His 2 wins since the Mayweather fight have been against an injured Martinez and a shot to s*** quitting Daniel Geale.

Cotto isn't as beloved as past puerto Rican greats but he will be missed. Especially with the lack of potential superstars on the horizon. Verdejo and pedraza don't seem to be panning out as expected and I wasn't overly impressed with the Olympian Cintron. Gonna be a dry spell for a bit as far as top PR fighters.
