Guaranteed that some of these clowns didn't start following the sport until after they started playing whatever boxing game was popular In the past few years.

I just tried to post this on the thread of: Cotto's record at WW isn't that great

But for some reason I got put on the ignore list.

But anyway, here's what I was going to post:

Boxing writers, aficionados, analysts, experts, historians, officials, myself and others agree on Cotto's career. Fighters that aren't that good don't get mentioned as a first ballot Hall of Famer.

At the end of the day, he is indeed a first ballot Hall of Famer and will be in the Hall of Fame as soon as he is eligible.

      And that's all that matters.

        What u talking about Willis?

A overweight, poorly conditioned, trained by an amateur coach literally and actually gave Floyd bloodly hell. Floyd himself said Cotto was his toughest fight. What the *** you think a better conditioned, trained by his best trainer evangelista, prebrutalized by margarito, younger version of Cotto would do to Floyd? Don't know if Cotto would win but I do know Floyd didn't want to find out.

He was retiring after Hatton cause he saw hungry mofo's like Williams, Mosley, Margarito & Cotto ready to challenge him. This is why his legacy is tarnished. Yeah he beat a lot of great fighters, but this was done when they were not in their prime & on another note, he never fought Williams or Margarito.

Dude you were probably walking around on ****ting on your diapers in 2007 & 2008, that's how it went down. Floyd is not ****** he saw what was on the horizon; Margarito, Williams, Cotto & Mosley. That's why he rtired. Listen when you are in the sport of boxing you always want to fight the best. After beating De la Hoya he made his money. Now we all know that this version of De La Hoya is not the same that fought Trinidad & Mosley in other words this is not a prime Oscar. So Floyd intead of wanting to fight the best(see below), he retires. This is the point of why his legacy will always be questioned. He retired for no reason.

so you see nothing wrong with Floyd retiring while you have all these highly talented & worthy opponents knocking on his door (see the high-lited ones). Come on bro these were the fights to be made, this is what makes you a legend. Just like Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Hagler & Benitez. The questioned is, why retire when here are your biggest challenges?

                      Djtmal,
This is how it went down, I know there are so many Floyd fans in here. I understand them not accepting this, but this is the principle reason why the critics are there. I admir all of Floyd's accomplishments, but what happened in 2007 when he retired just doesn't make sense, it is what it is & there is no spinning this story around. You can come with your excuses for him, but you just can't change history.
