We already saw this with Mayweather vs Pacquiao. It took us 2 years to get Golovkin vs Canelo. If Lomachenko wants to solidify himself as a P4P great he would jump at the opportunity to fight Rigondeaux, Garcia, Crawford, or even Pacquiao. Anyone of the them would help seal the deal.
The only version that is absolute is based on the fact is that A) Team Rigo was offered the fight in 2015 and they turned it down, B) Rigo has been taking things to Twitter which may generate interest but is ridiculously useless as a negotiating tool, C) Rigo's manager has been silent lately and thus has denied none of the recent information, D) more than one qualified person has confirmed that team Rigo has not made a phone call to Top Rank which is a prerequisite. If someone turns you down it is on THEM to contact you back, NOT the other way around.

Ok you got me. Rigondeaux backed out of the fight 2 years ago so it's up to him to come to the table with hat in hand and beg for a fight with Lomachenko. Meanwhile Lomachenko is getting ready to fight someone that has no chance of winning.

It would be an absolute dream fight for purists but would unfortunately be called boring by a large contingent of people, boxing fans included.

Beg for a fight with Lom???? WTF are you talking about cause it is not Rigo's job to handle negotiations, it is his management which becomes team Rigo. The way you talk about Rigo doing this and that instead of team Rigo tells me you dont really understand how fights are made. How about his management contact TR the way negotiations are supposed to be done??? Hint, it is not through Twitter. Radical ***ing concept. And even Terry Trekkas, a promoter who has done ESPN cards has come on here and explained simple sht like this to lowly peons who know diddly squat about this stuff.

Loma knocks Rigo out...that's why Rigo wants TONS of cash to fight him.

This would be a great fight, but i don't really see this being made manifest.

I would like to see how loma deals with the fact he won't be able to side step and pound rigo, not to mention his defense.

As a lowly peon I didn't realize I was dealing with a bonafide boxing insider. I thought all fights were made during half time of a basketball game. I just want to see good fights. I'll leave the minutiae of negotiations to the experts like yourself.
