That's what I'm saying. That's why it's strange and why I would wait before jumping the gun.

But Stiverne seems intent on not accepting any step aside money from anybody, not from Hearn, not from Haymon. So the Wilder-Ortiz fight may not come off because of Stiverne. Stiverne also hired a lawyer and J Prince to help him block Wilder from fighting anyone else.

The WBC is mainly at fault for putting Stiverne in as the #1 mandatory, SMH.

I'm hoping for the best and that somehow the Wilder-Ortiz fight gets made. But it looks like it's going to be Wilder-Stiverne 2..........SMH.

True, this would be a great way to end the year with a Wilder-Ortiz fight.

But the WBC had to go ahead and make Stiverne #1, meanwhile Ortiz is #3.

Yes'sir, makes absolutely perfect sense to me. SMH

It's no surprise that this was probably all hot air rather than smoke. Whether Wilder fans want to admit it or not, Wilder-Ortiz would be an interesting matchup and a number of people want to see whether Ortiz really is a player in the HW game.

We're probably resigned to dealing with Wilder-Stiverne II, and if so, let's get it over and done with, so we can go back to what we've known for the last couple of years - hoping Wilder finds a decent fight.

Problem is there's only so man interesting fights for Wilder out there. Parker is barely a favorite over Hughie Fury, think that guy is going to give Wilder a tough time? LOL. Tyson is a blimp, Ortiz is going to grow old praying for AJ, Whyte isn't ready at that level. Ortiz is by far the best choice but Stiverne is an a55 and Ortiz wants to waste his time on the shelf..

I dont understand how stiverne is mandatory to anything. The rematch absolutely should not happen.

I said it's rumour.. If it came from Al Haymon or team Wilder it wouldn't be a rumour. That's exacty why I said its a romour! The youtube channel "Punch-in show" rumoured Wilder was fighting Breazeale and you all took that as credible source and the tread on here about that fight was viewed by thousands of people.

I meant to say Breazeale not Stiverne lol. They also rumoured the dates Wilder would return Oct 14 and Nov 4 before boxing scene released their article.
