Ortiz vs Wilder is the best fight that can be made in HW boxing right now.. Both guys are free and what a way to end an amazing year of boxing. Fans lose out on a great fight end of the day.

I agree completely but welcome to boxing. A bunch of back-and-forth nonsense. Who knows what the truth is honestly. Luis might be trying to make a last minute effort to convince AJ to fight him before he signs the Wilder deal. Wilder might just be trying to steamroll Stifferne. Maybe both are playing games.

Hi fanboys were going crazy saying “But he’s a bum doe.. but he’s a ducker” etc… They will get egg on their face now if the fight doesn’t happen. It’s not looking likely to happen.. More of a negation tactic by team Wilder to sweeten up a deal of fight someone else.

Otiz deserves a title shot. AJ has to fight him after Vlad and Pulev. AJ blasts him out IMO but they guy deserves his shot at the title unlike Stiverne.

That's really strange that Ortiz says it's news to his ears. But yet journalists are reporting through their sources that it's almost a finalized deal. Strange.

But I think we should wait a little bit before rushing to judgement.

Besides that, Stiverne has hired J Prince and a Lawyer to block the Wilder-Ortiz fight from happening. Stiverne said he will not accept any step aside money also. So if it ends up being Wilder vs. Stiverne we can't blame Deontay for that, the WBC is to blame for putting Stiverne in as the #1 contender.

The truth will come to light in due time. I'm hoping it's good news. But from the latest reports it looks like Stiverne isn't budging and that it's going to be Wilder vs. Stiverne unfortunately. And I can't blame Wilder for that, Stiverne won't accept step aside money from Hearn or Haymon and now he hired J Prince and a lawyer to block Wilder from fighting anyone else.

The report was most likely bulls*hit.. it said the fight was close to being finalised but Ortiz didn't even know Wilder's team had contacted his team.. THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE ITS CLOSE TO BEING FINALISED

Why are Haymon fighters constantly making shyt up about their next opponent or fight? Shouldn't Uncle Al be the one working out their next opponent? He makes a lot of money to be a manager/promoter for these guys.
