Ain't that the truth. Conor's footwork and controlling distance may be effective when you are anticipating kicks, take downs, etc, but it's total overkill for boxing. Wait til May gets him in the pocket and see how good his footwork is.

I really hope we get to see vintage Mayweather in this fight, letting his opponent trap him on the ropes and unload, while they punch in vain at thin air as he rolls the punches. I'd love to see the MMA fans explain that when their boy doesn't touch a glove on him despite being right up in his face against the ropes. I don't think they will even comprehend what's going on.

One thing I will say about MMA is that they don't duck fights. They fight who Dana tells them to fight. Mayweather wouldn't be undefeated if boxing did the same. Real fighters don't have undefeated records...

Fear? I just hope this fight is as much a dud as I think it is and that it ocmpletely kills off the US PPV model so that we might finally start to get regular, world class fights.

There Is a good chance of that happening. Floyd vs Manny started It and Floyd vs Mcgregor will probably end It. Unless Mcgregor can pull off a miracle and than the rematch would sell well on PPV.

If Floyd wasn't fighting Mcgregor right now he wouldn't be on PPV. He certainly Isn't going to fight Crawford, Spence,GGG or rematch Pacquiao or Canelo.
