What's with the notion that we should root for Floyd just because he's a boxer?

Of course you don't know. We'll never know because it never happened

No need to bring up Breidis Prescott when guys like Pac got KOd by sinsirgut and some other bum. Not even counting Marquez.

If you don't "think" he could, great. But don't announce it as fact because of Breides Prescott... Well, because that's idiot logic and shows YDKSAB

That's like saying GGG will KO Jacobs with a jab because Sergio Mora, doe

Khan or Marquez could've gone through that list of fighters undefeated.. Especially when you start talking about catchweights.

Name one WW that fought that same group of fighters? You can't, so how do you know what any other WW would actually do? You don't.

The quicker you understand the difference between fact and what you "think", the quicker we can move on.

if being unified champion in multiple weight classes at the same time was so easy, everybody would do it.
Floyd was never "undisputed" in any weight class though.

He beat 3 JMW's while fighting at the full JMW limit 2x

he beat de la hoya and cotto at the full 154 pound limit, while they were 154 pound champions, with floyd not cutting weight at all and still weighing in several pounds under the limit.
It's not about "who", but "when". Do you know the difference?

he individually unified three 147 pound titles one by one, beating ortiz, maidana and pacquiao when they were all reigning champions.
        1. He fought Ortiz for the WBC, no other belts were on the line. Do you know what unification means?

        2. He beat Maidana for the WBC and WBA in a fight he arguably, lost, but cool. Floyd won.

        3. He beat Pac for 3 belts, but he was never "undisputed". Do you know the difference?

who are these other welterweights that would have won all of these fights without taking a loss? they don't exist
Marquez and Khan. Prove to me they couldn't.

Is that why your first interjection into the convo was about Breidis Prescott?

Always remember, it's not "who", but "when"

In 2008, here were The Ring's top 10 Welterweights:

                      Antonio Margarito
                      Miguel Cotto
                      Shane Mosley
                      Joshua Clottey
                      Manny Pacquiao
                      Carlos Quintana
                      Zab Judah
                      Luis Collazo
                      Andre Berto
                      Isaac Hlatshwayo

In 2007, here were The Ring's top 10 Welterweights:

                      Floyd Mayweather Jr., Champion
                      Miguel Cotto
                      Paul Williams
                      Shane Mosley
                      Antonio Margarito
                      Zab Judah
                      Kermit Cintron
                      Luis Collazo
                      Joshua Clottey
                      Jackson Osei Bonsu
                      Oktay Urkal

Tell me why instead of fighting Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Floyd fought Ricky Hatton and retired right after?

When presented with Cotto, why did Floyd say "I won't let the sport of boxing retire me, I'll retire before that happens"?

Why did Floyd say this only to continue to fight for another 10 years to this day?
