it would mean he had amazing talent to crossover the sports. it wouldnt mean that boxing is somehow 'exposed' as a joke, its a sport that consists of top athletes just as every other sport. I couldnt care less if mayweather loses,it would make mcgregor a legend rather than destroy boxing. If you really think about it, it's not just Floyd's legacy on the line. It's the legacy all the previous ATGs in this sport going as far back as SRR and even further.

Conor beating Floyd would invalidate the entire history of boxing. The Ali - Frazier rivalry, Hagler - Hearns, Duran-Leonard et al. Not only that, it would be the biggest upset in boxing history.

No it would mean a literal novice walks into our sport, disrespects our sport by calling it not real fighting and "easy" and beats one of the top guys in the sport and thw fighter of his era.

Delegitimises the likes of Pacquaio, Cotto, De La Hoya, Canelo the list goes on and on of world class, life long boxers who couldn't.

Literally makes our sport a laughing stock and a joke.
