Wilder is ducking Whyte for $5M, he would likely price himself out for Joshua too. AJ needs to move on with or without Wilder. Just wish he was fighting Parker sooner, like later this year.

Note an evil genius, just someone who understands marketing and promotion... which he should as that's his job.

Now that Ortiz is signed with Haymon, makes sense to make Wilder vs Ortiz after he whoops Stiverne again. But, logic rarely comes to fruition in the fight game.
Wilder v Ortiz doesn't really make sense, not when Ortiz is the WBA mandatory. Haymon isn't going to want to throw away a shot at Joshua when it's worth so much.

Parker and Wilder have about the same level of name recognition here in the UK and if Parker gets past Hughie then he will arguably be the more proven fighter, plus his purse demands are probably significantly lower than Wilder's. Wilder is not exactly doing much to make himself an attractive opponent

Hasn't Wilder already done this before? Hasn't he already paid enough dues and proven himself over and over against against less than top-notch contenders like Dillian Whyte? So what is there left for him to prove guys?

After he smashes this bum and then what? What are his plans for AJ after that? If this fight is so important, then let it take place in the U.S as opposed to the U.K. That is if it means that much to Hearn in order for Wilder to get his shot at Anthony Joshua.

ortiz is the wba mandatory. doesnt make sense for haymon to do wilder-ortiz until after ortiz has the wba title.

Wake up friends. This isn't about exposure. This is about promotional options. Hearn promises a shot a the champ as long as you sign away those promotional options and fight one of his 2nd tier fighters. It's a win win for him. It all sounds great but the terms of these contracts offered will tell the story.

You must have missed the part where Hearn offered Wilder a chance to build the AJ fight by offering 4.5m to face Whyte, only Wilder refused.

Best news I heard all day Parker is prepared to put it all on the line and unify versus AJ. Mega fight can't wait.

Both boxers have upcoming assignments to deal with, which prevents their fight from taking place this year.

Ohh what a brave, brave man AJ is. He's willing to get in there with Joseph "The Animal" Parker!!! What a joke of a fight. At least 20-1..

If Wilder was willing to face Whyte and make himself known to the UK audience so everyone here was clamouring for a Joshua v Wilder fight then Hearn would be talking about Wilder v Joshua rather than Parker v Joshua. Case in point:

"Certainly victories over Hughie Fury and Tony Bellew or Dillian Whyte would put Joseph in a brilliant position to earn a lot, a lot of money in the Anthony Joshua fight and put him in a position where that fight is a necessity rather than a potential fight."

Whyte wants to face Wilder. That fight would put Wilder at the forefront of the UK public's minds and thus would mean Wilder would be at the front of the queue. If Wilder doesn't take it he'll be sat waiting until after Parker, if he does take it there's no doubt he'll be ahead of Parker. Question is, is Wilder too arrogant/ignorant to accept that he is not the draw here and has to put the work in to get the shot he wants?
Whyte-Wilder is an utterly pointless garbage fight. Big Baby-Whyte makes a lot more sense..

LOL that's the first time I've heard AJ-Parker described as a "mega-fight". It's a trash fight where AJ would be a massive favorite, over 20-1.

Everyone, including Hearn know the big fight is AJ-Wilder. He's just denying reality at this point..
