David Benavidez is not going to have a problem with going into Flint or wherever and kicking Dirrell's ass from pillar to post.
I only wish that the winner of that fight was in the tournament too.
Honestly it's almost like foreign fighters are being deliberately warned that they ain't wanted. IMO Smith made absolutely the right decision. On the last part though, we can totally agree - the tournament would absolutely be better with Haymons top SMW talent participating, not to mention Zurdo, of course. Damn shame that Uncle Al and Grandpa Bob seem to think they got more important business to attend to.

Wow! Super series for the win! i despise eubank but he is stepping up, kinda exposes promoters when a tournament is the only way to get the top dogs together

Andre Ward was never the favorite to win the Super 6.
Groves is proven. Callum is not.

Why would Smith walk into the lion's den when he's seen that it's entirely possible that not even a KO will get him the win? The guy's got a lucrative, high profile opportunity in the WBSS and more importantly one in which he's not almost guaranteed to get stiffed on the slightest pretext.
That's why you would do something like that.
