Probably a smart choice. Not only has he been messed around plenty already, but recent events should have put any foreign fighter on notice that going to the hometown of a Haymon fighter in the US right now is a risky proposition at best.

They won't sell that smith/dirrell fight anywhere else Michigan made sense with out of state judges and refs

But then there's the problem of keeping the Dirrells in check. Anthony gets dropped or hurt the ring will get stormed...And then you have the Malace in the Palace all over again. They didn't show was his posse was doing to the ppl in the crowd. Sht ton of fights broke out. They were attacking anyone who was booing the coward for the sucker punch.
