Comments Thread For: Bellew: I Know I Can Beat Andre Ward - I'm Too Big, Too Strong!

This doesn't make sense. Bellew at Cruiser looked non proportional with a fat belly and lanky upper torso. He looked even fatter at Heavy. Therefore, Bellew comes off as a non fit dude, like a Tyson Fury...
If Bellew really wants it, why not fight Ward at Cruiser? Ideally he would still acknowledge he'd be the bigger guy, so therefore Bellew's admitting a possible advantage because he comes in fatter? Guys like Wilder or Joshua can wreck Bellew's body. I don't see Bellew hurting Ward because he won't be effective in landing to begin with...
But if Ward is serious about Heavyweight and a big offer and fight can be made with Hearn this is the John Ruiz that Ward should look into for a Heavyweight win!! Too bad there's no title on the line.Comment

he is bigger and stronger but he doesnt have that one punch ko power like kovalev or stevenson do! Ward is probably faster and that soft body of bellew will be the target all night!Comment

Ward is twice as skillful as Bellew - Bellew was close to being a paper champ at CW - there is a reason he's not in the WBSS. So Ward beating bellew would carry about as much weight as him fighting Barrera at the time at LHW - solid contender but not close to being champ in his own weight class. Now if Ward were to beat Bellew and then defeat the winner or even loser of the WBSS comp then he'd be an ATG in my book. Right now he is lock in HOF.Comment

Like Bellew blasted out Adonis Stevenson in quick fashion by KO
Bellew is a fringe talent who was humiliated by Adonis Stevenson and embarrassed via a violent KO beat down. Did Bellew seek a rematch?? Hell No. Bellew ain't beating Ward-EVER. Bellew is a Bum.Comment

Bellew vs Ward isn't going to happen.
Bellew would want paying for it, and the only place he would get paid for fighting Ward is in the UK. Ward can't do what he does anywhere but in the States, so zero chance of him coming over to the Mecca of boxing for Bellew.Comment
