Because on here, taking that money from promoters and giving it to the fighters is a bad thing. compartmentalizing their role and revamping the model? Well any promoter that goes along with that is a sham promoter. Give us the good old days of guys like King, Arum, Duva and Murad Muhammad.

Yeah. It's wrong when boxers get the bulk of the money. It's better when the promoter gets it. Say different and you are a haymon fanboi.

Honestly I have to disagree with a lot of the criticism for this fight directed toward the fighters. First off, Pacquiao looks literally a weight class smaller than he used to and he was already barely a welterweight. He doesn't look much bigger than Loma. Horn on the other hand is a rather big welterweight. Furthermore, Horn is incredibly lacking in fundamentals so he makes up for it with grit and smothering. Given Pac's size, that was a good strategy. I didn't think he was intentionally trying foul most of the times he did. I just think Horn is not used to fighting such a small fighter that way. I do think Pac won clearly but the size difference alone combined with Horn's smothering style kept him in the fight. A more Mayweatherish style where he uses the shoulder roll, pot shots, and stick and move would have been much better against Horn but Pac doesn't do that. They should've known Horn would be a tough opponent for Pac's size and style but they were overconfident. His team sees him as more of a legend than just a man.

Despite being WBO champ, Horn is no where in the league of Spence and Thurman. Because they actually have power, I think they ko Horn easy

Yup!!! Good old senile Duva did that to Kovalov.. And Horn just made $500,000 to Manny's $10,000,000...

I believe Al Haymon only gets like 2-3%??? While double dipping Bob takes at LEAST 25% from BOTH his fighters for easily 50% plus of the totals

I blame this old coot! He set Manny up to fail. I can't wait until Pac is finally free of his contractual obligations to this miserable old cheat so he can leave him for good and once and for all.

He appears to glee over Manny's loss. It sounds like he hustled him for this fight. All he has ever done for Manny's career was rip him off and left him penniless and broke.

That's the only reason why Pac is still fighting at this advanced stage of his career when he should be retired. After allegedly earning $ Millions with Top Rank, he yet still needs money which is both heartbreaking and shameful.

I noticed the size difference right away. These are a NEW breed of WW's their all pretty damn big!!!

On a side note even the much smaller Pac ***ED Horns face up. He needed a SHT ton of stitches over his eye. While PAC barely had a scratch. I don't think Horn has that good of power??

Remember not too long ago when PBC was "dead?" Remember how bad their business model was? And what has happened since then? Bob Arum's lawsuit...gone! Manny Pacquiao just fought on ESPN! Crawford and Lomachenko will be fighting on ESPN! GBP signs a deal with ESPN! Boxing is alive and well, and we all owe a sincere debt of gratitude to Al Haymon!

So has Floyd and Oscar. BOB Arum always has extensions on top of extensions so it's almost impossible for you to ever full fill your contract. And when you get close he'll put you on ICE if you don't sign more extensions so you can never full fill them.
