Instead, he finished the fight and had a huge swollen head after the fight, because Pacquiao hit him so hard, but because he had a 15 pound weight advantage in the ring, his mass was able to absorb those shots without getting KO'd.

If Arum is smart, he will not waste another second of Pacquiao's career in the wrong division. They did it for the money but they failed to realize that Pacquiao looks much less spectacular in that division against guys he can't hurt nearly as easily, and when your fighter doesn't look spectacular, he is not going to sell the PPVs he could be selling no matter what division he is in. You are better off with a spectacular boxer at 135 whose name will make WHICHEVER division he fights in into the money division than have an uninspired boxer at 147 just for the sake of fighting in "the money division." Arum has still failed to realize that apparently, and his star boxer's career has paid the price for it for years.

The damage is already done for the last decade. What should have been a decade as spectacular as the first decade of Pacquiao's career was instead somewhat wasted in the wrong division. It could have been truly spectacular if they kept him at 135 where he belongs. But like I said, the past cannot be changed. However, despite splitting training time with senatorial duties and fighting a man much bigger than him, and getting headbutted all night, Pacquiao still showed he has something left.

So long as they don't waste another second with him int he wrong division, Pacquiao's career could have a resurgence. But it has to happen at 135. MOVE PACQUIAO DOWN TO 135 ALREADY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD and make Pacquiao-Linares for the fall, and I think everyone will be shocked by the spectacular performance you will see him put in. Meanwhile let Lomachenko collect the other 135 belts on ESPN, building his name, and Top Rank can have an in-house superfight by the end of next year at 135, Lomachenko vs Pacquiao, possibly even for ALL FOUR BELTS at once assuming Pacquiao can also beat Easter before then and Lomachenko can beat Mikey Garcia. Who wouldn't want to see that? But it's only possible if they stop ruining Pacquiao's career in the wrong division and do what they should have done ages ago and move him down to 135 where his power can actually be effective again against guys his own weight.

It's not Christianity that has been preventing Pacquiao from getting knockouts this whole time. It's boxing in the wrong damn weight division! Move him down to 135 and I guarantee he starts getting KO's again, even at age 38.
No need to wait until next year! No time for "marinating!" Pacquiao vs. Lomachenko @ 135, in Manila! It's an in-house fight! Nice Christmas gift for the Philippines! Make it happen!

I think Arum felt some kind of way about Manny wanting to fight Khan in Dubai, rather than fight Horn in Australia! So here's the payback for trying to leave the plantation! You get robbed in Australia by Jeff Horn, and if you want a rematch, i'll tell you how much, when, and where! Now "go to your room," and "fix your face!"

I have to agree with Arum on the overconfident part.
            I had it 115 - 113 for Pac but I can't cry robbery.
The only atrocity was the 117 - 111 scorecard.

Manny should enforce the rematch and take this kid out early.
Also, if he had gone to the body on the 9th when he had him in trouble he would have stopped him.

If the contract with Top Rank is truly over then Manny needs to get as far away from Arum as he can.

Bob doesn't appear to have his best interests at heart.
