Sure I would like to see Wilder against better guys. Whyte can do all the yapping he wants. It is pretty clearly laid out in this article but maybe Whyte & others are just too blind with hate to see it. Stiverne is the WBC mandatory. Don King who is Stiverne's promoter WON'T take step aside money. The only fight that can happen before Stiverne is a unification bout with Parker or Joshua. We all know that Joshua is waiting for Klitschko or Pulev & Parker is fighting Hughie Fury in September. So why would he not take the Stiverne fight next to get the mandatory out of the way while the other champions are busy? The Whyte fight isn't happening anytime soon. It's not rocket science. Maybe if Povetkin didn't fail 2 drug tests we wouldn't be in this mess.

Is there no boxing news outlet out there putting the wbc under fire for even having stieverne as a mandatory? I know he was supposed to fight povetkin for the Position, but its ridiculous to give mandatory positions per default.

I want Wilder to get KTFO but it is not his fault Povetkin failed 2 drug tests in his title fight & the eliminator. The WBC said unification would be allowed over the mandatory but Don King won't take step aside money. What is team Wilder suppose to do? Vacate the title? He isn't exactly the biggest draw & to fight Whyte he would have to pay Stiverne to step aside & if there isn't a belt on the line then I'm pretty sure that purse would be cut substantially. It makes no sense for Wilder to fight anybody other than Stiverne unless he can get unification. Wilder ain't vacating to fight Whyte. No belt, no big purse. He will make the same fighting Stiverne.
