Shocked at Robbery Claims

Aggression - Horn was more aggressive. Was it effective? Largely it was because the aim of aggression is to push your opponent back and stop him from getting off. Pac threw less and landed less, regardless of the idiotic punch stats. ANyone with two eyes watching the fight could see Pac was gun shy.
the rounds in which Pac was more aggresive, pushed Horn back ,stopped him from landing and even hurt him, Pac won but those were 4, maybe 5.
Defence - Pac looked to be the better guy in this category but he still got caught often, beautiful right hands landed in almost every round.
Ring Generalship - Can't overlook Horn for this either. He dictated the terms of the fight, from where it took place to how many punches were thrown and if Pac backed off or came forward. Pac was positively mauled into surrendering all of those aspects although he showed astute boxing knowledge in rounds 3 and 8 where he allwoed Horn to walk onto punches but that did not happen enough.
Clean and Hard punches - Pac landed hard, he landed clean. Horn landed hard, he landed clean although at a lower accuracy but that is a symptom of him simply throwing more.
Horn wins 2 of the 4 categories hands down in at least 6 or 7 sounds, edges it in another category.
Again, please dont counter that with "yeah but punch stats" because thats just a guy presisng a button. If you are an honest individual, you know who was the more active fighter throughout.Comment

lol ,you listed categories and twisted it the way you want it,not the way it should....no such category as aggression, just effective aggression otherwise rios, provo would own that department all the time despite eating more punches on their way in and countered like horn did....and there's really no case for horn on defense and clean punching esp when stats corroborated with the robbery claim..and even if we give horn the other 2 you are claiming ,neither outweigh clean punching so sorry but this is how not to score a fight!!!Aggression - Horn was more aggressive. Boxing scoring is too subjective. Judges should be required to explain why they score each round the way they do. Or close results should go up for review to a larger panel of judges. Or fights should go 15 rounds.Comment

No, while it wasn't a robbery; Still the wrong the guy won. In my opinion, it was a close but clear decision victory for Manny Pacquiao. 117-111 for Horn was absurd.Comment

Yeah like others said, scoring this fight 117-111 in favor of Horn is what makes this a robbery.
I thought it was a close fight where potentially Horn could've barely sc****d a victory, but to have Horn winning by that large of a margin is total bull****.Comment

Hectari, I'm gonna have to give you your props and tip my hat to you man. I didn't believe this guy had so much as a snow ball's chance in Hell of winning this fight but boy was I wrong. You called it accurately. I badly underestimated the dedication, focus, heart and disciplined of Jeff Horn. The man not only showed up but actually showed up to win. He really surprised me. He took the fight to Manny backed him several times and even buzzed up on a few occasions. The fight was great, I think ESPN should have advised Atlas and Stephen A Smith to tone it down and just ride with Horn, they ruined it for boxing with their emotional outrage. They should have just praised Horn but instead they ruined the debut of a big event on ESPN boxing by their anger.
Im shocked that Teddy actually took Mannys side, the only real Pacquiao hater is that fool Kevin Iole on Yahoo, everytime Pacquiao fights he talks down on it, this fight he insulted it and said he wasnt impressed this moron keeps expecting Pacquiao to knock out everyone wtf? you dont knock out top level guys and bigger guys that easy, I knew Horn was going to be close to 170 on fight night, he already said he walks around well over 175 and I knew Horn would be trouble for an aging offensive fighter but Manny impressed me I thought he would quit after those two deep head butt cuts from the clash of heads.
Manny gassed in the 9th round and was tired, that grueling weather though, that fight was fun for real. A lot of people enjoyed it
Im surprised this many people even watched it, They said Time square in new york was jam packed with people who watched that fight on the big screens and the bars, and they were crying robbery and insulting boxing saying its dead and UFC was the king.
This was taken in new york right after the Pac Horn fight while people were leaving the bars after the decision
Thats what ticks me off UFC has some bad robberies but nobody says UFC does it again or **** ufc always with boxing they blame boxing.Comment
