    They're not. PBC on HBO?

hbo is payin fighters from smaller weight classes less money for good ratings. roman got 400k , cuadras 250k

hbo probably have internal polls that show them how many people would drop their subscription if hbo did fewer boxing shows and by the looks of it, the subscribers dont care about boxing that much

arum is mad that hbo is tryin not to air mismatches. thats smart by hbo and should be welcomed by boxing fans. ive noticed recently the only times they have aired mismatches is when they are guaranteed a big ppv fight down the line e.g. canelo or ward fighting guys like brand before kovalev

long gone are the days hbo are being hustled by haymon to pay extortionate purses for guys like berto.
How old are you? This is grade school logic.

HBO isn't airing fights like that because they can't afford to. Period. Or they would air Crawford-Indongo and Loma-Marriaga, believe that. So they'll air GGG-Wade but all of a sudden are too good for other stuff? Nah. It's over.

tons of haymons fighters are currently contacting lawyers to get out of haymon contracts because they aren't fighting enough

you sure the HBO/haymon split worked out well for HBO?!?
Fantasy world. That's where he lives. Too much reading Steve Kim or something. Talking about HBO getting extorted when Haymon is responsible for the majority of the good matchups we've seen in boxing these past few years.

first of all, that's not true. second of all, they wouldn't have a legal leg to stand on.

very few with haymon would make more money elsewhere. very very few.

you can't keep 200 fighters happy, but the idea that "tons" of them are trying to get out of their contracts is 100% false and there is no basis to challenge the contracts. haymon promises his best efforts and nothing else. haymon is a manager, not a promoter. he doesn't owe anybody fights.

Of course they don't care, ***s are competing with ***s - ***s run HBO, Showtime, ESPN and all of the free-TV networks.

As far as the actual loss of Crawford and Vasyl - that's huge. ESPN is now finally a serious boxing channel, but boxing is now basically a bunch of individual UFCs within one sport. Top Rank is it's own monopoly, PBC, Hearn and Golden Boy. 99% of the time they will only make fights involving the in-house or a fighter with a small-time promoter like Lou DiBella. Crawford vs. Molina are the type of fights you would see because the big promoter/manager has nothing to lose in that situation.

Maybe by hope we get a PBC/Top Rank card on ESPN with Crawford v. Thurman - that would be a huge fight for the sport.

                  HBO - Golden Boy
                  Showtime, CBS - PBC
                  ESPN - Top Rank
Fox, Fox Sports, NBC, etc. - PBC

I would say that Golden Boy is in the best position because they can essentially milk HBO with the threat of leaving at any time. HBO really has gone into the ****ter since they hired the *** Hershman who was failing at Showtime before Espinoza took over. Hershman began the downward spiral of HBO in the sport of boxing.

HBO was very smart to squeeze out Top Jank fart fest set-up staged fights and give more dates to Golden Boy Promotions.

Bob crossed Oscar and Oscar chased Arum off of a premium network.

                    Oscar is the fucking terminator.

To be fair. HBO doesn't need boxing. It's just a side piece to them and they can afford to completely shut that department down. And that's the truth
