And gigi took 7 rds to ko both rosado & lemule. And rubio had gotten ass kicked by chavez jr 2 & a half yrs before gigi cherrypicked him.

He is not a great boxer, whenever a decent opponent with power attacks him & puts him on the back foot he panics & stops throwing back,if jacobs didnt have a glass chin going into fight & wasnt scared to throw early in the fight he could've destroyed gg way worse. You guys make it sound like gigi is some ultra powerful puncher, thats complete bs hes just been matched very favorably his entire career against guys who almost all had been ko'd or beaten before badly.

the ball is not in this guys court

    just saying.....

I will be pulling for Triple G in this fight and view him as a prohibitive favorite but something deep down tells me that Canelo will either win and/or be incredibly difficult for Golovkin. Fighters with overwhelming offense often look spectacular against mediocre to above average competition and struggle when they face great boxers. I'm not saying Canelo is a great boxer, but I can see his educated approach and skill set creating problems against an aging GGG if Genady can't starch him or dictate the fight based solely upon his power boxing.

As a side bar, can we get rid of all these posters that claim any fighter is a bum with an "L" on his record. **** gets stale real quick and you show your ignorance.

Yeah he caught Khan because he was fighting a guy who just moved up to WW but the point is he looked slow compared to Khan. Let me guess, you think he's fast because he was faster than Angulo and Chavez right?
I just know he is faster than ggg

Still his reasons for Canelo beating Golovkin are suspect. Golovkin is not just a power puncher, he's a skilled boxer. True Canelo is faster and he's going to get to Golovkin. "This is boxing Max" But if Canelo hits him and Golovkin isn't impressed it will be business as usual. It should be an interesting match up and hopefully it's a competitive one.
Look at Canelo vs ángulo and see the first left hook Canelo hits ángulo with. Then press repeat with ggg

These Guys are Really Going to Try to be a Runner

Canelo is not a stalker, I am not sure why B-Hop is saying that. When pressed Canelo sits on the ropes and rest. That will be his undoing here.

I haven't seen anyone say that a fighters a bum if they have a l on their resume, I did say that fighters like lemieux & esp. Rosado are nowhere near what gggroupies claim, rosado is a no hoper & lemeiux is far from elite because he had already lost twice in a row BEFORE ggg fought him vs a jmw with 12 losses who angulo kod in 1 rd. Its not calling someone a bum to analize gggs resume against the moronic claims his fans make when shîtting on canelos record.

That other poster was suggesting what would happen if canelo hits ggg and ggg isn't impressed... well, I believe Canelo will grab ggg respect early like he did with ángulo. That first left hook Canelo hit ángulo with was a very hard shot, I think Canelo does something similar in the ggg fight to get his respect.

Robi, I think that Canelo has to get Golovkin's respect early too, but what I'm saying is that if he doesn't it will be business as usual for Golovkin. After all Golovkin has been cracked pretty hard by others (you know who they are) and they had no effect. We'll know how this fight will play out right from the first bell.

who did Golovkin ever blow away...... ?

Canelo will have plenty of time to settle in and earn Golovkin's respect

this is actually ridiculous, Canelo will earn Golovkin's respect in round 1

that fight will be a boxing match

Golovkin will be a good boy and keep them hands at home when he realizes how sharp Canelo is
