SHT Boxing Rec has him ranked #27 at FW.

Top Rank does this all the time.

I want to hear Salido's side of the story.

If they want to avenge that loss (and they should want to) then it should not end with a top offer of $720K, as good as that offer might be.
Win or no win, he has no other options to make even close to that. Who is he going to get a fight with that will pay him anything close? Top Rank is throwing him a bone, if he walks away then let him fight someone else for $200K.

Most likely and Top Rank is just running another "ducking campaign."

Previous reports/rumors were saying Salido wanted late August while Top Rank wanted early August. So...

It isn't about what options Salido has.

It's about what options Loma and TR have.

Exactly what is a legacy worth?

Right now, every honk (including me) can point to that decisive L and say "see, he really isn't top 5 P4P".

          And we'd be right.

It's up to Loma to make liars out of us, no one else.

If that loss came during the prime of Loma's career, then yes, it would impact his legacy, but his second pro fight, not at all. So long as he keeps winning the way he is and putting distance between Salido and future opponents, that Salido loss becomes less and less significant.

You guys have to make up your mind, what's important, money or legacy? Money or titles? Because I see a lot of flip-flopping from certain fans on what really matters.

I don't believe word coming outta' Arum's hole.

$720,000 was LIKELY a multi-fight deal with strings attached to it.

It isn't a money OR legacy thing or a money OR titles thing.

                    It is, of course, both.

And really, he can put all the distance he likes on it but in his case it WILL count.

Loma IS NOT your typical guy, he is a decorated amatuer who WAS EXPECTED to excel on the pro level.

Losing to a B-level is something you MUST avenge or NEVER live down...

Notice how Wlad detractors bring up Purrity and Brewster?

But, you notice McCall and Rahman are not brought up the same way for Lennox.

The difference is not hard to understand.

So yeah, I'm also going to wait on Siri's side, since he has never tried to BS about a whole lot.

He'll tell it straight, at least from his side.
The offer likely had too many strings attached to it.
