Tszyu accepted that ass-whipping from Vince Phillips.

It's how they are in that region.

    They accept ass-whippings over there.
    Exactly.

    Comparisons WILL be made.

You are going to talk about how great Loma is while remembering the L he took to Siri, the same Siri that was so frustrated by the azz-whupping Mikey Garcia was putting on him that he found a way out of their fight a year earlier?

It WILL follow him if he doesn't step up and make sure the rematch is made whatever it costs.

And no one talks about how, in hindsight, Arum would have made out like a bandit if he accepted what Floyd asked for.
      What was the counter offer?

        Lomo waited too long

The rematch will not matter considering Salido's age and all the wars he been in since the first fight.

The reason Mayweather opted for the buyout rather than waiting for the May 6 result was because the contract had a limited window for the buyout, one that expired before the De La Hoya fight. However, Arum said he would have extended the window if Mayweather had asked. What Arum wouldn't do, he said, was raise the guarantees for other fights outlined in the contract.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

Ellerbe said Mayweather opted for the buyout so he could be "more in control of when and who he fights next. It's as simple as that. There is nothing bad between Floyd and Bob."

            Probably.

It is definitely fair to look at Siri's age and wear and tear should the fight ever happen.

That's why real ATGs usually find a way to rematch ASAP.

Loma was crying when Walters missed weight against Sosa...then fought him at 130......but.......only after Walters was on the shelf and covered in rust.

              Remember that ****??

Watch what happens when Tank Davis has had a few more fights.

Arum(and Loma) will stop answering his phone...........just watch.

                ^^^^^

People don't want to believe that for some reason...despite all the proof that's out there.

It's just not realistic at all, man. First off a fight of this level would need REAL promotion. And getting the contract worked out itself would, as we all know, is worlds apart from hammering a deal out with a guy like Marriaga.

The date is already set. There's simply not enough time. It's not an excuse, man. It's reality. A Loma/Rigo clash can still happen -- it just can't happen for this fight. It's not realistic.
Well how long did Lomachenko vs Marriaga take? And do you remember the 1st Roy Jones Jr. vs Bernard Hopkins fight? It happened early in their career.

                      Yeah, sounds like SOP.

Just like the Rigo fight at 130 is all of a sudden hard to make.

And whatever happened to Loma challenging Mikey at 135?
