"When the financial requests were met, suddenly there were other issues like a hand problem, which led to a weight problem, which led to Marriaga. Funny how that happens," Top Rank vice president Carl Moretti told ESPN.

    ??? I want to hear Salido's side...

"Marriaga brings -- heart, determination, a big right hand, size and no intimidation."

????WTF are these Top Skank guys smoking??? Size??? REALLY??? He's NEVER fought at 130!!! But he brings size???

The more I think about it Top Skank probably tried doing some BS with the contract and Salido's side caught it.

So, he did agree to the money but there were other issues?

Doesn't sound like an outright duck at all...and it COULD BE Arum doing his usual number- acting like he is trying to make a fight while simultaneously sabotaging any real chance for it to be made.

I agree! Look at the direct quotes that LYING POS Top Rank vice president Carl Moretti said??? I posted it a few minutes ago. Basically he said Marriaga is gonna bring SIZE to the fight??? Dude's NEVER fought at 130. And NOT even a Top 10 Featherweight/

SHT Boxing Rec has him ranked #27 at FW.

Just shows you how they LIE threw their TEETH over their at Top Skank.

He says a quote it was about the MONEY and then later quotes as saying no it's NOT about the money but some contract BS???

My guess is that they really wanted the August. 5th date so they were willing to over pay for Salido and offered him a career pay day. A couple weeks back, Salido said the money was right but that he wanted to fight in late August.

I'm guessing that's why he turned the fight down.

I have to wait to hear from Salido can't take Top Rank word as gospel. They have been caught bold face lying and putting out BS excuses only to get exposed later when all the facts are out. But regardless this is a shyt fight no justification for this crap. Can't tell me nobody will fight him when guys like Rigo are barking for the fight.

TR is notorious for talking about how guys turned down money when in reality they are lowballing the fugg out of them.

                  There is example after example.

So yeah, I'm also going to wait on Siri's side, since he has never tried to BS about a whole lot.

He'll tell it straight, at least from his side.

Salido will never see a higher offer for any fight. Like I said, when they don't want to fight they price themselves out.

He has a W over Loma.

If they want to avenge that loss (and they should want to) then it should not end with a top offer of $720K, as good as that offer might be.
