Also in a 3 fight, 9 month tournament the brackets are important. I could see a rough fight early having an impact on the overall outcome. Making a pick before the bracket is made is silly. Making a pick before we know who's all in is really silly.

Kovalev would be a good wild card pick to throw in there. Don't love the idea cuz I think he was mentally beaten vs Ward + fighting again so soon vs tip top guys doesn't seem like a great idea after back to back L's, but it'd had even more eyes on this tournament.

I mainly just hope Usyk is in cuz if he's in & Glowacki enters this tournament is nuts & idgaf who wins I'll just grab the popcorn & enjoy.

Lebedev is very basic and Gassiev struggled against him. Usyk won't have any issues with him whatsoever.
