You have an agenda and that Is all this Is.

Just remember, other top fighters have also fought guys that come off of losses a fight or two prior.
Buddy wake up, a bad loss then a walk over a b grade opponent is not top form, look at Hatton for instance stopped by Floyd nearly beat by a D grade guy then a points win over Pauli then a new trainer a coke habit and a fight with Manny , all those guys were real close to bad losses some directly after, that's all Im saying and its proven fact.

Like I said believe what ever you like Ive followed the sport for nearly 50 yrs and I know how to read form and how fighters get matched at a particular time.

You say I have an agenda when I think you do, its called sugar coating a guy you like.

We already blame you Bob lol. Even Pacquaio-Khan would have been more competitive, even though the date would have to have changed with Ramadan that Khan observed. But Bob did put together some of boxing's greatest fights. It's just the last ten years or so he let's fights “marinate” for far too long, or just has his fighters fight in-house so to speak.

To be fair Barrera and Morales were past it already when they fought Manny. Morales never beat anyone credible after Manny. And Barreras only credible win is against Morales. Those two guys had already been threw wars, Barrera turned pro in 89 while Morales in 93. Manny was in his prime around 2003.

Pacs only a 6 division champ. 1 of those was against the weakest champ in David Diaz and the other for a vacant 154 title against Margarito( which they didn't deserve). All others are minor and not recognized

Floyd is not being blamed for making the circus fight. He has all the money and power to make Thurman type fights. But he'd rather do the circus fight. So...

Barrera was absolutely not considered past it when he fought Manny. In fact if I can recall Manny was at the time considered "Horn esque" opponent for Barrera.

Barrera had been fighting for 14 years already when they fought. Had spent the past few years in wars with Morales, Tapia, Junior Jones, Hamed, and so on. He was old compared to Manny who was starting his prime.
