GGG doesnt have to move up, and neither does Rigo if he doesnt want to. I dont know anyone clamoring for Rigo to move up, because frankly there are only about 3 or 4 people in the entire world who care one way or the other what Rigo does or doesnt do.

But if a fighter, ANY fighter, is going to keep calling out someone's name who is in a different division, then they should be prepared to move up or down to make it happen.

And FYI, a fighter saying "I will fight anyone" is not a call out.

Why do some of these ggg fans assume we forget about these things ? What was really funny was how every time ggg/team rolled out a new excuse about why they wouldn't make weight concessions for Canelo or why they wanted 164 for Ward after stating "anyone from 154-168" their boxing scene minions would immediately memorize the propaganda memo and repeat .

It reminded me of the movie "The Wolf of Wallstreet" when DiCaprio would tell people in his office to push some dog sh.t stock, and they would immediately hit the phones to sell the garbage. Any TRUE boxing fan will NEVER consider the loser of Canelo/GGG/Rigo/LOM/Rigo/Mikey fights as a BUM! So *** any fanboys who go around calling a fighter who is in the top 1% of the world at what they do for a living and world champions a "BUM"! That is the opposite of the truth. GGG told HBO he was ready to fight Ward next when asked in 2013. Ward told them he wasn't ready because of various problems he had.

GGG had signed to fight Lemieux and was mando for the winner of Cotto/Canelo when he got an offer from Ward. And even then, Ward was still asking for tune-ups first and saying he wouldn't be ready till the following year.

Man, this would be a dream fight! But I can't see Arum being enthralled about it based on Business:

1) Neither fighter is a huge draw.
2) It's not an in-house match up.

His other concerns could be:

4) Rigo stinkin' up the joint (for casual fans).

Another question: would the purses force the fight to be PPV? Arum is trying to establish himself on network TV, but would he make Loma/Rigo on HBO because it could be a 'boring' fight? Will Roc Nation provide Rigo with a large purse like they did with Ward? As usual, the fight will come down to money.
