[QUOTE=Progrssive_Jedi;17801265]**** Ward, he's a dirty azz home grown cheat anyways. Let the gullible have their diva

We did let the gullible have their Diva, we let u have ggg and Kov. Now y'all don't want them anymore cause ggg has no credibility left to speak of and Kovalev was completely undressed.

Why do some of these ggg fans assume we forget about these things ? What was really funny was how every time ggg/team rolled out a new excuse about why they wouldn't make weight concessions for Canelo or why they wanted 164 for Ward after stating "anyone from 154-168" their boxing scene minions would immediately memorize the propaganda memo and repeat .

It reminded me of the movie "The Wolf of Wallstreet" when DiCaprio would tell people in his office to push some dog sh.t stock, and they would immediately hit the phones to sell the garbage. Only difference is they new they were selling cons, whereas ggg fans couldn't seem to figure it out, they believed the excuses were legitimately sound .
Ggg been fighting nobodies and is 35! Only once credible win which was controversial at that. His resume is hot garbage

most people had kovalev winning when he was stopped on clear low blows. bad reffing and cheating=undressed? and dont start with that borderline garbage. weeks himself thought punches that landed higher were low in the 2nd round and warned ward for it so you have no defense. they gave ward the win just like the first fight. such is boxing but to sit there and pretend like ward won legit when you know the ref turned a blind eye to cheating...now that is gullible.

There was no catchweight demand on Ward. There was Golovkin refusing to be forced out of his natural division for less money than he could make by staying put.

I have already heard all of your childish excuses

                you missed the point

to me, it looks like Rigo is at the point where he is willing to take that risk

he likely realises that his career is passing him by, and he can see fighters like Ward Kovalev Golovkin Canelo Cruz Mares Brook Spence etc ALL land big fights

no point whatsoever in conceding a big weight advantage and then killing the fight over money..... and they are dealing with moneybags Arum

I don't think that fight will be a big earner for Rigo

Most state commissions have limits on how much of a weight difference between the 2 combatants. In Florida for example, for any division below light heavyweight, there cannot be a difference of more than 12 pounds between the fighters at the time of the weigh in. So if the fight was contracted at 130, Rigo could weigh no less than 118

I admit that I don't know the exact rules, but I would be amazed if they allowed a mismatch like that

he should have to weigh more than 126.01

I remember a Marquez fight years back..... the other guy missed weight badly, he came in MORE than a whole division over the limit..... I think it was supposed to be a featherweight fight but ended up at lightweight or something..... they were not going to allow Marquez to fight because he couldn't make the minimum weight..... Merchant I think it was, was joking that Marquez sudden weight increase looked like he filled his pockets up with coins

I dunno you're probably right, but that sounds like a HUGE difference and a definite mismatch

Rigondeaux is attempting to pursue a catchweight bout with Lomachenko at a 126lb and not the 130lb division as been reported in this article. It's only Lomachenko's manager Egis Klimas saying this. Rigondeaux has never expressed a wish to fight Vasyl Lomachenko above a 126lb.
