You must LOVE situations like this because you get to run your mouth either way.

If GGG concedes the diva stuff like who walks first, you talk smack and say the Jacobs fight scared him.

If GGG didnt concede the diva stuff like this, then you would talk smack and say he should acknowledge that he's the B side and do what Canelo wants.

So no matter what he did you were going to run your mouth anyways........

Edit: and for the record, its actually common in big fights like this for the a-side guy to walk last, but the champion (GGG) will actually be introduced last. I suspect that GGG couldnt care less as long as he got the fight, but it would have been Loefflers job to make sure he gets introduced last.

This sounds like the type of cornball thing Oscar would pull. Don't know what to say about Gennady giving him his way on just about everything. In a way, I wish he'd have told him to go *** himself (not over the entrance thing, but everything combined). But, in another way, I think I ultimately respect him more for getting paid and providing for his family.

Yep. Plus, I wonder how many rear ends GGG would've put in Cowboys Stadium fighting a nobody Brit, compared to Canelo's 50K+ of 'em?
No one has ever claimed Golovkin was the A side vs Canelo, maybe if you say it out loud someone will hear you?

Kinda comparing apples to oranges don't ya think? How many seats would GGG fill in Kazakhstan? Russia? UK? Hell any European or Asian country?

This is all just posturing, it's once again how much Gennady gives up simply to make fights actually happen. Imagine if the split was released? Wouldn't care if he took fight for free like offered Barker. Really hoping this turns into a megafight though & Canelo does indeed find his balls. Don't know the outcome yet, but think most of us do "know".

British middleweight Darren Barker was chasing a shot at a world title so Golovkin’s manager Oleg Hermann got in touch with his promoter Eddie Hearn with an offer that would include Golovkin fighting for FREE. But Hearn – unaware of the dangers that Golovkin possessed back then – was quickly told where to go by Barker’s trainer Tony Sims when he giddily phoned up thinking he had pulled off a great deal.

The simple answer was ‘F*** off’.
Hearn said: “They phoned up and asked if Barker wanted to fight him for the world title and I said ‘yes, yes’.
“They said all they needed were some sponsorship logos on the ring and some tickets. No money. I was like ‘f***’.
“I phoned Tony Sims and said ‘I got Darren a shot against this guy Golovkin... Tony?’. He went ‘f***off, no’.
I said ‘he doesn’t even want a purse’ and he said ‘f*** off no’.”
Golovkin added: “I remember yes. I said it doesn’t matter what deal just give me a chance.”

The Kazakh’s promoter Tom Loeffler revealed how Team Golovkin were just desperate to get fights as world champions kept running away from the dangerous puncher.
He said: “Oleg was struggling to get anyone in the ring with him. “They were basically willing to fight for free just to get the fights and they knew if they came over here against a popular fighter like Barker it would get a lot of publicity for his career.
“They fought in Canada, they fought in Panama, Monte Carlo, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. They were willing to fight for free to get the recognition, the activity and to keep proving he is the best champion.”

You guys are missing the bigger picture. The reason Gennady is going first is because he'll be younger. If he was going out last the ggg fans would say, "He waited for GGG to go last so he can get old!" -ggg fan

Canelo gave ggg the belt a year ago. Ggg owes him a favor. Champions can do these things my son!!

Isnt Canelo the lineal Middleweight? They are both Champions at Middleweight.
