Oscar De La Hoya, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, has confirmed that even though Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) is the challenger - it will be IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin who will enter the ring first for their upcoming mega-bout. Canelo will challenge Golovkin on September 16th, in the main event of an HBO Pay-Per-View, from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
