failed theories for the sheer fact that he fought Lara at the mysterious "Caneloweight." This was before any 160 context came around which boxing fans fail to correlate. In theory if Alvarez had any intention to cheat a system we would we various catchweights. The fact that Angulo and Kirkland weren't even title fights who cares!!! Those were exhibition prize fights.

Could Khan have any chance at a full 160? Let's be real. Canelo chooses the weight he feels more comfortable. Smith was ranked at 160 not too long ago and dropped back down to 154 Rank.
