The first first fight was controversial as hell. When weeks stopped fight did he not for one second think he was on the edge of creating controversy once again.?
That's the problem he didn't think. Lost concentration. Some people when crossing road dont concentrate sometimes even and pay consequences. I've got experience of that.

Dude both the shots in your signature are low. It's just a choppy low FPS gif so the shots ride up in 1 frame which takes extreme concentration to see, and it makes it look like it's on the belt line. That's why to really see what happens HBO shows those 240fps clips in slow mo, but they chose not to show most of Ward's low blows in slow mo in order to protect Ward's reputation. In reality both those shots hit the bottom of the belt line and some of the shorts. Weeks said the top of Kovalev's belt line was legal, not the bottom half and the shorts. Those are low.

He smashed Kovalev. Just watched the replay on my big screen as opposed to my computer screen. Kovalev is way dirtier than Ward. The rabbit punches and head locks happened over and over. And that 8th round when Kovalev gave an early flurry he was basically giving his last ounce of energy. When Kov turned away, Ward knew blood was in the water. Fantastic win.

The bottom line is Ward spanked that ass proper and unfortunately, for most non African American boxing fans, they don't know how to cope with it. They are in both shock and disbelief that their hero Sergey Kovalev had indeed checked out and quit because he was a mentally broken fighter.
