So where are the 3 low blows in this poor article? Am waiting, because I could only see one low blow which happens to be he last punch of the fight, and even that was not low low low.

I will continue to do so but this one right here lacks objectivity. You have allowed your preference to overshadow the facticity of the fight.
I don't like it when Journalist reports their own opinions as facts, he claimed 3 low blows, when there was only one which was the last punch of the fight. The other two he was referrring to landed right on Kovalev belt/kidneys.

We should be encouraging more body work from boxers, if boxers are going to fake getting lowblows to prevent getting hit in the kidneys then we might as well give up that art in boxing.

This is why body punches are a dying art in boxing, I for one love watching boxers go to the body, we saw that with GGG, Spence and now Ward.

Terrible article very bias, was Kovalev protecting himself when ward was going for the kill nop. how many time did kovalev bend over and pretend he was low blowed. Dont blame everything on weeks and definitely didnt see 3 consecutive low blows

Take the NFL for example. They issue apologies after virtually every week for blown calls. Some that cost teams games. You think those "apologies" make the losing team feel any better?
lol. great comment. the good ole All American yard stick and measurement. Man the NFL will milk any single yard advantage which is why they measure differences. Ward hit Kova on top of the belt line in the final blow. Why don't they just measure the width of Ward's glove to see if it can occupy the top portion to bottom B Hublot portion. Therefore, the fact that nobody is focusing on Kovalev being bent forward clearly makes an air pocket from the trunks when creased out that it seems that the glove is impacting when it's merely in its way and POV.

Keith been crying about this all week. There is a reason that everyone on this forum only has the gif of the last punch; its because there isn't any evidence of 3 low blows. Just because the writer states it doesn't make it true. Sergey bent over from the two body shots that were right on the red K on his belt. He put himself in a bad position when the other fighter is digging body shots. If you want to complain, complain about the fighter who spent the latter half of the fight looking to get the other DQ'd

Can't be!I've ward fans tryi g to deny low blows when there is slo mo replay.
The main thing is weeks said he didn't see them. He may not have but we can see them and kov felt them.

Kov told ref he was low blowed can't the ref agree that he may have missed it and the fact kov is doubled over is cos of low blow he didn't see?

Every thing poim ts in direction of giving kov time to recover with warning if no point dedu ctions

All week? If you see his history, you would he doesn't like Andre Ward.

Keith Idec always writes stuff to make white fighters look good, he is always putting down Andre Ward too, not the first article.

Most of them indirectly admit the referee botched the fight then spam "KKKovalev career is over! don't cry *****! We back on top!"

I've never really seen it so dumb around here. Even at the height of the floyd/pacquaio stuff people weren't such blatant **** suckers and had better arguments than "u mad?"
I could swear I have. If not, let me be clear that I am upset with Weeks while also happy with how Ward performed. Andre looked outstanding, but Weeks could have done a better job for both fighters.

I think there have been patches of reasonable minded discussion interspersed between some good natured ribbing and a lot of outright trolling. I myself have participated in all three this week.

Some of the latter was set off by exaggerated or repeated claims from individual posters who were not likely to get serious replies to their 15th "low blows doe" thread. Or with threads suggesting Ward deserves no credit or that he isn't elite etc etc

From the early rounds I knew the fight wouldn't last to the final bell because the way Kovalev was reacting to the body shots. He was getting discouraged. Je would fire back after gettimg hit on the body, but it was only reactionary without much snap on it. Any boxers who targets Kovalev KOs him. I liked him before he started whining with both SOG loss.
