This has literally been beaten to the ground now. This fight was going to end in controversy anyway you look at it, whether DQ or the cards it was going to still be controversial. One of those punches landed square on the nuts, the others are open for interpretation. The referee should've pulled both fighters to the center of the ring and put them in their place. Kovalev for looping punches in the clinch that hit Ward behind the ear and Ward for the potentially low targets he hit. Weeks did not do his job and it could've ended horribly for either man if this fight had gone on because both fouled the living shh out of each. Me personally I don't have a dog in this race but I called it on the last thread before the fight happened that it could potential end in a DQ for either guy and hell if it didn't almost happen.

It's an open and shut case. It should get changed to a DQ, but the NSAC is corrupt. Duva is feckless though. She wanted Kovalev to hit Ward back low, but she's not willing to hit the NSAC back? Then stfu Duva because you have no guts. The NSAC is clearly corrupt, but has she used the word "corrupt" once? No, she's too scared. The NSAC's corruption has cost Kovalev millions in future earnings, but has Duva contacted the FBI to investigate the NSAC? Has she filed a lawsuit? No, so she deserves to get walked over by the NSAC and the other more connected people in boxing for the rest of her life as a promoter, just like she's been walked over by them for the last two decades without doing **** about it other than gush over how professional and wonderful the NSAC is the day before the rematch happened, even after they robbed her fighter last time LOL!
