As I already wrote elsewhere, Ward was to Kovalev what Holyfield was to Tyson. Simply put, Ward has Kovalev's number. But the Krusher is still a force, unless these defeats have broken him mentally. I'd still pick him over Stevenson, and most probably Beterbiev too.

You know, the fake ass Ivan Drago, I must break you, I've been apart of an in-ring tragedy so everyone is risking life and limb by fight me. If Kovalev quits on his stool, which IMO was a high probability. Or takes a knee after the next big body shot he took and allowed himself to be counted out. If that happen, the Krusher brand was gone forever. At least now, after beating a couple no hopers to a pulp. And as long as he doesn't fight Ward again any time soon, the Krusher brand should be relatively easy to rebuild. Especially since he has a pretty solid percentage of his following that are willing to accept the "I got hit low" excuse.
Well said Sir! Ironically Kovalev got robbed in a loss, and now Ward got robbed in a win! One of his best performances is tainted by the actions of the referee! Kov is going to have a tough time getting quality opponents on HBO @ 175 because the bulk of the talent @ 175 fight on Showtime. If Arum takes Gvozdyk to ESPN, it's going to get even tougher. Basically there's Bivol and Joe Smith Jr.! Good luck with that!

When a fighter throws that many low blows it's to stop the other guys momentum and a way out the fight to stop the pain they are receiving. Ward had the ref on his side and he still needed a gift tko. Weak mfker

Broner's got Mikey problems ahead of him. It wouldn't surprise me if Mikey makes him quit. He already quit on his kids and baby mamas.

KOV should be thanking ref for stopping it when he did to save him the embarrassment of getting totally KO'd.

If you were kniwhedgable you would know body punches weren't for survival but a tactic that worked took his legs wind heart and soul
