But yes it should. Right after Chavez beat meldrick Taylor he fought a guy that was 5-3 and then 4-3 after that. They all count. After beating roger mayweather he fought someone that was 0-1

Circus match up or not, Conor has a pro boxer's license and is fighting under pro boxing rules in a sanctioned fight. He has competed in the highest level in MMA, so he won't be completely out of his element.
