No. I believe it's a 50/50 split.

Duva is giving Kovalev 75% of their 50% which will be a few mil at best for Kova.

While Roc Nation have given Ward a guaranteed $6.5 mil and whatever else. Roc Nation is going to lose money paying Ward. Kovalev is jealous that Ward is getting overpaid.

Why is Kovalev upset with Ward? Unless there's word that Ward failed to show up at promotionals event how is he not promoting the fight enough? This kinda drama doesn't motivate a fighter it's actually distracting. Even if he knocks Ward cold there's no guarantee he's getting paid a lot of money for it. This is the same guy that resigned with Duva when he was a promotional free agent and the same guy that resigned with HBO as a network free agent when the Stevenson fight was right there to be had after the WBC ordered a purse bid. Yeah he played himself on that one...he could have fought Stevenson and Beterbiev if he left Main Events. This is the most that he can get out of a fight now because I doubt anyone managed by Haymon will fight him now

RNS ain't saints they overpaid cotto and ward years ago to steal them away. They thought they would get more fighters to follow and a seat at the head table in boxing by handing out that big cash. Instead they lose money every time they promote a fight and are going out of business. Today they would pay ward less if they could but they can't because he has a contract and is owed these amounts regardless if the ppv flops. Ward is getting overpaid and getting all of these sponsors despite rarely fighting and having no fanbase at all basically not to mention he has an unpleasant fighting style that fits more into MMA!

Kovalev needs to fire everyone on his team, from top to bottom!

By now he should be a superstar with his fighting style, attitude, and willingness to promote his own fights.. I mean he promotes his own fights better than his own gotdamn trash ass promoter!
