during this camp, I hope Kovie got a better connect percentage on the heavy-bag than he did on Ward in the first fight

Dam - lots of prejudice boxing fans on here - mad at things that have nothing to do with their life. Kov should be mad at Duva! It's funny how main events manipulate Kov due to a language barrier and Egis Klimas shouldn't say much because his fighters get paid way more than their opponents why do you think the Loma / Rigo fight has yet to get made? What about why Walters took so long to fight Loma?? sat him on the shelf so he couldn't fight for over a year then out of desperation he signed for way less because he had to feed his family - but all you see is the end result - Egis Klimas , but that's ok right boxing fans

          Kovalev man...

Even the Stevenson fight would have gotten you paid better then this.

Sucks for Krusher. Maybe this will open up his eyes and he can leave that garbage promoter of his. Both Roc Nation and Main events seem like they don't know what the heck they are doing

The split isn't the problem not having a guarantee and being on the hook if the promoter don't do their job is the issue. I get the promoter wanting to protect themselves but that's why you need a manager having your back in this situation. If it weren't a big deal kovalev wouldn't be crying about it.

Kovalev is crying about Ward being overpaid not the deal with Duva.

A guarantee only comes in to play if the fight makes less than the guarantee.

If Kovalev gets 75% with a $2mil guarantee and he makes $3mil, he still makes $3mil without the guarantee.

If you paying fighters to the point you lose money every fight you promote and can't even pay your employees then you overpaid your fighters. Now stop quoting me go troll someone else.

What's most impressive is that Roc Nation created 100% of these partnerships on their own although they're sharing promotional billing with Main Events. Even though they're new to the sport in many ways, they're way ahead of their competitors when it comes to creating results outside of the ring, ultimately creating a new revenue generating platform within the sport that has yet to be utilized to its full potential, providing value for all who participate.*

                    That's from Forbes:

The Cotto-Roc Nation Sports separation was amicable but came about because they simply could not agree on the money Cotto should be paid for the fight, a source with knowledge of the situation said. Cotto, the source said, wanted way more than Roc Nation Sports was willing to guarantee for such a marginal fight that likely would have lost money.

                    That's from ESPN:

                    http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...rces-told-espn

But hey, when the facts don't agree with you, just make up your own, why not.

Need to change his name to Hoevalev because Sergey is getting pimped all across Vegas smh. First Duva doesn't get him the purse bid with Stevenson, then he ends up making far less money than Ward when he was the champion, now he gets TBD on the rematch!? bruh is lost in the sauce to be loyal to that team. They got this fool working on commission

On another note, it makes sense that JDJ tried to jump ship because he's getting 10% of TBD smh
