75% is pretty standard split. Duva just isn't putting up a guaranteed purse so she doesn't lose money if it flops badly. It's not that big of a deal.

The split isn't the problem not having a guarantee and being on the hook if the promoter don't do their job is the issue. I get the promoter wanting to protect themselves but that's why you need a manager having your back in this situation. If it weren't a big deal kovalev wouldn't be crying about it.

Kovalev is crying about Ward being overpaid not the deal with Duva.

A guarantee only comes in to play if the fight makes less than the guarantee.

If Kovalev gets 75% with a $2mil guarantee and he makes $3mil, he still makes $3mil without the guarantee.

Roc Nation said they overpaid you haymon dyck sucker. They refused to pay the money they owed cotto and had to agree to a buy out. They just fired their match maker because they can't afford to pay employees because the money they overpaid to 2 fighters. If you paying fighters to the point you lose money every fight you promote and can't even pay your employees then you overpaid your fighters. Now stop quoting me go troll someone else.
