Fine, but what about the issue where Saunders claimed that not only did they lie about their offer, but we're off the mark but a whole lot? Danny FINALLY got the fight because gay2 had their back (or front maybe) against the wall. Charlo hasn't officially been at 160 very long and I have no idea if any offer to Lara was even made, but if it were, I'd like to know the real amount and no hearsay.

I think in Lara's case it doesn't make much sense, no real benefit to Golovkin (i.e. not a big money fight or interest in it). Saunders is scared to fight Golovkin, period. You're right about Charlo, he's not ready. A lot of questions will be answered in September when he fights Canelo.

Don't you believe it's fair to say that in 37 fights that the lack of REAL competition at 160 has allowed this image that golovkin is some sort of super talent when his best win is over a B level guy? Even waiting on canelo (although good money I understand) is a career MW really just delaying the option of moving up and taking a loss so he can hope to get another win over a guy with more talent, but that's had 1 official 160 lb fight imo.

No defense but somehow managed to win almost 350 amateur fights, drop Kovalev in sparring, remain an undefeated champion in 37 fights and largely avoided. He may not be a runner or clincher like some defensive fighters, but he's never in a boring fight.

Someone like Badou Jack when he was at 168 or a prime Carl Froch would have made Golovkin eat all the leather he can handle!

Heck, let's throw in the lightheavy since his own trainer believes he can beat Kovalev, Stevenson and Ward!

That settles it, winner of Ward/Kov 2 should face Golovkin!

And yes Golovkin has been hurt, he immediately clinched! He got caught with an overhand right counter coming in!

Kovalev vs Golovkin at 175, let's do it!

Canelo puts his punches together better, is a better counter puncher, has MUCH better head movement and defense than anyone golovkin has fought to date. Because of his lack of better movement, I won't call him A level, but I'll say B+ vs Jacobs who is B level. Please tell me why you think I'm wrong, and use common sense and don't just say "Jacobs would beat him" or something of that sort. You realize Jacobs was a bigger underdog than A WW right? What do you think the odds would be if golovkin rematched Danny now? Even? 2-1 maybe?
