if the refs not going to do his job then kovalevs got to take the law into his own hand. if ward shoots for the takedown like he did in the 1st first fight then knee him in the face. if he keeps ducking down (which is illegal btw) crack an elbow down on the top of wards head. will make him think twice about doing it.

Can you imagine if Virgil said this?

I think Kovalev is a good fighter. I'm sure he's a good family man. But everyone and everything that surrounds him makes him look like a bad person.

Ward team have been sore winners (they know they got quite fortunate), Kova team have been sore losers.

They all have been talking sht, so finally that sorry sore asses ballet will comes to an end.

I just can't stand any more interviews of dumb Kova and his broken english and Ward fake prophetic talks.
I pretty much agree with everything said here. I'm over this fight. Been over it

There's a lot of trash talk but Kovalev does need to touch him more and do less head hunting. When you have heavy hands spending most of your time missing isn't a good strategy.

fighting a top ten contender and fighting a p4p undefeated champion are two different things

better opponent, you get hit more...common sense bro

Brand is not top ten and barely landed.....Barrera is a top ten guy and barely landed 25%...thats less than 1 punch landed out of 4 thrown....thats very elusive bro....i think he landed 15% of power shots...thats less than 1 out of 6 thrown

Kovalev is an elite fighter, possible a hall of famer....there are levels to this.

Kovalev should stick to the jab and feints. It worked very well in fight one. Trying to doing other things cost him the fight. If Jackson is telling him to adopt this approach, he'll take a decisive loss this time around

Ward wants to come inside and do his thing, that's his game. Even against Bika, a guy who you beat by jabbing and moving, Ward came inside.
Keep Ward on the outside, on his back foot, where he's not comfortable and don't stop jabbing. Simple but not easy. lol

He knocked down Agnew with a jab to the body. He also knocked down Caparello with a straight right to the belly. I also remember he got off some nice hooks to the body when Pascal had his high guard up.

If Kov quits head-hunting and throws as many straight punches downstairs as he can, he's got a great shot at hurting Ward (or slowing him down at least).
... But then Ward jumps inside (with his head leading low) and he tackles!!!
