I have sports radio on in the car and the national host just called the Warriors potentially going 16-0 in the playoffs the Mayweather-Pacquiao of basketball.
Everybody thinks Pacquiao won though right? One team utterly wrecking everyone is referred to as a Mayweather-Pacquiao type letdown.

NEVER. so you are giving Manny every benefit by assuming he would do something no other PPV star did and this was AFTER he would be coming off a lopsided 10-2 loss.
Come on, use your head.

Here is the point you are missing-Floyd has 2 potential fights he can make right now that will sell huge, 1 of which may eclipse floyd/Manny-Canelo/GGG winner and Conor.
Manny can't do that.

and i guess floyd didn't think he was clearly #1 cause he would not have said this...
"I waited until the time was right, when things were on our terms and we were the A side and we could do things our way, "
as much as floyd loves to crow about him being the a side, he really couldn't lay full claim to the throne in 2009 apparently...Last edited by djtmal; 06-09-2017, 02:22 PM.

LOL
That is the trend you are ignoring. There is no trend with floyd's numbers.
If floyd didn't fight conor and fought the canelo/ggg winner the numbers would be high.

You can interpret what he said to fit your argument, fine with me. As for my point- there is no debate as to who sold and generated more.
Of course he could, there are just people like you that somehow look at 700k for clottey and equate it to 900k for hatton. you look at the top price for a Manny ticket and equate it to the top price for a floyd ticket even though its up to a $1,000 less.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 06-09-2017, 02:31 PM.
