You are leaving 2 important points out, Floyd sold more units and the tickets and PPV's were priced higher. He was clearly #1.

            • “Everything in life is about timing,” Mayweather said. “I don’t regret anything. The time is now.

“Before, I don’t think this fight was as big as this. With me going out there getting bigger and bigger, not just in boxing, but outside the sport, and him stepping outside boxing and continuing to grow outside the sport, the names are much bigger now than they were before.

You can’t rush everything in life. Certain things aren’t meant to be [rushed].”

what truth dude? You are giving Manny every benefit of the doubt without using any current evidence or being honest about what is happening now.

Manny isn't even an HBO fighter right now. You think a Manny/JMM fight, without HBO support, with JMM coming off a torn biceps and both over 40, is going to do good numbers despite the fact Manny's last fights have sold 300k?

The numbers have dropped primarily because he lost badly to Floyd.

and you're doing the same, assuming that if he lost to floyd in 09 he wouldnt be able to bounce back. i just proved to you that even if he lost to floyd in 09, which he was still pretty much in his prime, he can bounce back. why wouldnt he be able too?

                      quote from floyd:

"I waited until the time was right, when things were on our terms and we were the A side and we could do things our way,"

which suggests to me, that in 2009 floyd wasn't able to totally buttf**k the little guy in a negotiation, in 2015 yes
