Manny walked away from the table in 2009, because he believed he was as big a star as Floyd, had as much leverage at the bargaining table, and wasn't going to allow the Mayweathers to buttf**k him over $ or Floyd's demand for more stringent testing. Thats not hard to see.
he walked away, which is all that really matters. Instead of going for the best and the big purse, he took on a series of lesser opponents. That plan worked until he said no to testing for the 4th JMM fight.
who's asking for floyd/ggg? dont kid yourself, that ship has sailed.
so you brought it up and said "projected". yet when i bring those names up against pac and say it will do good number, you shot it down by saying pac wont fight them. so if floyd fought vargas, are you telling me his numbers will be high? you seem to keep avoiding this one.
Bob/white don't work together. Bob/ODh don't work together. GGG has never mentioned a manny fight while he says floyd is his dream. come on dude stop pretending you don't know the climate.
My point is floyd already fought his no name-Berto. Everything points to his next fight being a huge event. I doubt he would be fighting Vargas level guys anymore since he is retired.
manny is fighting vargas and horn level guys because he doesn't wnat to fight the top ww's like Thurman and Spence.
so his numbers has been declining because of choices of opponents NOT because he lost to floyd "so bad" LOL. glad you took that bait, i threw vargas out there because i knew exactly what you were gonna say that floyd will never fight a guy at that level.
i'll tell you this though, if pac would have beaten floyd in 2015, i bet his ppv numbers will sky rocket even against b-c level guys, (he made 1mil fighting marg, a guy who you guys dissed calling him no skill) imagine if he was awarded the winner in he floyd fight. where as for floyd, he beat manny so bad but his last farewell fight against berto did so low!

Thats because floyd is retired. why would he come out of retirement for a vargas level guy FFS? geez dude you are trying to win something and not using common sense.
I agree, had he defeated floyd, he'd still be selling huge, maybe even more.

bob/floyd dont work together also but what happen there, oops i did it again!

im not talking about right now!! im asking you if floyd fought vargas before retiring would his numbers be high??

Manny made his bed, he has to lay in it.
well, according to reports that i have read, in 2009 everything was agreed upon except for floyd's testing demands...so if the little guy walked because floyd was being a ****** who didn't want to budge over something frivolous, i can respect that...
and Pac walking away is all that really matters to a floyd boy anyways...,thats the excuse you hang your hat on to keep floyd out of the blame game..., but in the end it all worked out...Manny pretty much had no leverage in 2015, and floyd fought nothing but paper champs and well past-it, past greats so he was well preserved in 2015...
I disagree. it wont generate enough because of both. Manny simply isn't selling like that anymore. Crawford, I agree, is still not a huge PPV draw.
Crawford brings more to the table then Horn though. thats why I am hopeful they fight next. Spence is a WW champion and I want to see the best in the division fight. Manny. Thurman and Spence are the 3 best so I wan to see them fight each other.
Don't you?
Sure do, but Crawford and Spence are not house hold names and bring nothing to the table financially. Pacquiao does still sell like that depending on his oppenent, just like Floyd. If It were to be announced tomorrow that Floyd and Manny have come to an agreement on a rematch It would sell upwards of 2 million PPV's. Not bad considering Floyd's last PPV sold 500,000 and Manny's 300,000.

this ends here. b+ for the effort but R.I.P dunn
“Yes, they’re No. 1 and 2 pound for pound,” Golovkin said to Boxingjunkie.com. “It’s my dream fight with Floyd or with Manny. I’m at 160 (pounds), they’re at 147. Maybe at 154, we can do it. It’s a big deal.”
