I can see it now... in a physical fight against a young GUN....showing flashes of his younger days ....leading on points...then retiring on his stool due to an injury.

Hope you dont feel cheated if you pay to watch him fight.

May be boxing needs to start a SENIORS TOUR!!

Someone needs to wake Marquez up and tell him it's over. Like Marquez you had some great fights but it's over man. it's over

Some of these boxers think it's still 2011 or something it's closer to 2020 and we are entering in a whole new era in boxing phasing older Champs like Marquez out he's not a factor and is already HOF anyway he needs to be saved from himself like RJJ

...sad but true...looking for big money and one more big fight, should've made Pacquiao #5 years ago...or officially retired after #4..he should've listened to body then..it's too late and it's over...now he's going to be miserable for the rest of his life.

Fan of both, atg's and future hall of famers but there are only a few boxers in history bigger than boxing.
For real but it's so hard to just let go of things. I still mix it up with them Youngbloods & the ones that don't know me think I'm close to their age....I even get a couple pick up games to play football & I be real sore from all that running and tackling. They should both retire. I'll be joining them soon...lol

Side effects of age? Inactivity? Ped use? Either way, time to retire and call it a career. He should've just retired after the pac ko, no better way to have gone out.
